Hey Guys or Gals

The Whirlpool Duet Washer and why it Leak's. 1) Make sure the Boot(which is the black thing that hook's to your tub and your door) And the ring around it, is tight. Now this Ring,is a Metal Band that keeps the boot on the tub Tight .You can tighten it or loosen it..ifs its loose, then it will leak...Then, there's a Ring around the door as well, Both of these rings are hard to see..so make sure, your really looking good. Now what most people don't thing about is the Main Inlet Tube.On page 18 in the manual.on picture 3.5 it show this source of water that comes into the tub.,this Main Inlet Tube that connect to the Dispenser Assembly, will come loose and will Drip or at times Leak bad,To be able to understand where this is located. First 1) take of the top cover of the washer, 2) take off the front part that hold the door on.That means when you look at your Manual look to pages 31,32,33 and this will tell you how to take off the front of the washer,It's not that hard, to take off, just take your time..and have an extra pair of hands helping you, so it easier and faster. But once you get the front of the waster off,and yes that counts the Electronic display header,That's that button you push to run the washer,,it will pop off after you take a couple of screws out ,after you take the top of the was off..you see them. but back to the MAIN TUBE INLET, this will loosen and water will leak from this now when you replace the boot on this the tube will come loose when trying to put your ring around the boot, you cant tell that its loose becaue you cant see if after installing the boot,i know this dont make any since, but im sure it will if your start to tear it apart..and taking these steps to fix the leak. just make sure that you track the leak,to make sure that this is it...just make sure you take the steps to repair it ..if that means order a new piece then do it. But These Step Will Save you Lots of Time & Money if your Going to play someone to fix it...Here's the Link to the Manual,Just download it and go to the pages i put down ..Might have to copy and paste the address

You could possibly have a door gasket leak, due to a tear in the gasket. But your statement is not quite clear.
