Moist or water on the heater element is most common. Dismount heater cover dry out, then plug in and try. Or loose cable touching the chassie.

Kawasaki zx6r 1999 electric shocks off fuel tank

Negative earth wiring systems need a good contact earth, check the earth lead terminal from your battery see where it terminates it might need sanding up a bit , the reason for your tank becoming live is that it is bieng fed by a live feed somewhere underneath it. I know its a pain having to take off the panels and tank off but im quite sure that if you take it off youll find it, a wire could be displaced, freyed and touching.

How to avoid electrical fatal shocks?

Always keep in mind that if electricity is passed through our brain or upper portion of body where hearts & lungs are affected the electrical shock is likely to be fatal. To avoid electrical shocks and fatal shocks pl do following: 1. Don't touch electrical device or leaky cable with wet hands
2. Before doing any electrical job (even ironing) use clear hill chappal/shoe or stand on any insulator like rubber mat etc. 3. Always presume that any metalic body or cabinet or exposed metal part of an electrical device may give you shock and keep you ready with preventive measure as told above. 4. Switch off device and remove power cable wherever possible before opening/trouble shooting of electrical gadget. 4. The most important: if anybody gets a shock don't touch him/her with your hands. Just use your leg to disconnect him from electrical system. Otherwise electricity will pass through your heart making you lethal shock. 5. As neutral of a power plant is put into earth, the supply line has a tendency to close the circuit to earth through a load (conductor). Don't give any chance to make that 'load' with your body. So never touch live wire or insulate your body to stpo flow of electricity to the ground/earth and remember not to allow passing of electricity through upper part of body. 6. Don't do any electrical job after taking bath. Wet body gets very low resistance and helps in passing high amount of current during contact with live wire. Higher current through body means more danger for life. These small tips will protect you & your family members from any lethal shock. Pl teach this others also. 110.63032101 kenmore dryer no heat

May I assume you have already cleaned out the lint trap and assured good air flow inside the drum, if so then check for an in line fuse for the heating element you may have to remeove the rear panel to do this please be careful and disconnect or unplug the power before touching any wires as the fryer is 240 volts and will give a nasty shock or even kill. The fusibole link should be near were the power is hoked to the machine. good luck.

Get the drum out and clean her up

The idler goes like any other late model GE:

Looks difficult but it ain't you gonna have to take the screw out the main electronics so that you can get a friend to raise up on the drum high enough for your arms to get in there and connect the idler up. You might want to have this puppy sitting on a tailgate or work table. Doing it on the fool by yourself is a b!tch.

Hoover HDV 7 FM tumble drier. The drum is not turning (its making a loud buzzing noise like its trying to get going) and the filter light is on, although that is free from fluff. Is it time for a new drier...

sumanth m 's answer may well be correct because I have the same dryer and it has the same problem. I got a massive electric shock off mine and so I think the buzzing is a protection measure against a short circuit

I have an IDC75 condenser dryer. Everytime i press the start button to start drying my clothes, it will not allow me to start it and immediatley shuts off the electricity in the whole kitchen. PLEASE,...

the culprit seems to be the CONDENSER BOX. This can quickly get blocked up by soggy wet lint/fluff debris from clothes. Some clothes shed more than others, so it is best to check this frequently. What happens is that when the CONDENSER BOX gets partially blocked up, it fails to condense the steamy moist air into water efficiently, and the insides of the drier start to get damp ans steamy. Depending on the amount of moisture, and the make (Some Zanussi and Hotpoint driers may be vulnerable to this), if any vulnerable electrical part get too damp, then there will be a "flash-over" between a live component and neutral or earth (usually a part connected to the casework). This can cause the kitchen circuit breaker to trip. The fix: remove your condenser box, and give it a good spray clean in the garden with your garden hose. Any large lumps of fluff/lint that are stubborn can be pushed out from between the condenser slots with a plastic ruler. Allow to dry. Then , with power removed from the drier, use a good flashlight checking that there has not been any build-up of fluff behind the condenser box area at the rear. You may need to remove the water tank as well to see more clearly. It is worthwhile also checking the little buffer-tank at the back, where there is a level sensor switch for the water tank level. If it is full of gungy water and lint, try to give it a clean out. Give your machine an hour or 2 to dry out internally a bit before attempting to dry any clothes, in case the breaker goes again. If it DOES go again, try leaving it for linger. If it still fails after being left for 24 hours, there may be a more permanent fault, inside the top back of the dryer there should be a wiring diagram(might be on the back panel of dryer) you will need to trace wires and with multimeter try to figure out what is causing the short. Hope this helps Tim

Electrical shock from dryer

well then unplug it nad have checked by electricina you have a wire touching cabinet somewhere, and your dryer is now live!!! this should not be howeer be,, because a correctly installed machine would/should a least blow the breaker if/when this occurs!
