I have a 2005 F-150 5.4L and I can't find the heat control valve. I've removed the air intake and followed the two hoses but I can't find the heat control valve.

The heat control valve on a 2005 Ford F-150 with a 5.4L engine is typically located in the heater hose that runs from the engine to the firewall. It is a small valve that controls the flow of hot coolant to the heater core.
To locate the heat control valve, you will need to follow the heater hose from the engine to the firewall. The valve is typically mounted on the firewall, near where the hose connects to the heater core. It may be necessary to remove some of the trim or other components in order to access the valve.

2005 chevy equinox blows cold air even after driving setting on heat what are my options of checking first

First check the anti-freeze level, a low cooling system is the most common cause of no heat, next check for a kinked heater hose after that the water pump or heater core are suspect. I hope this helps. Take care.

Water dripping from firewall 2005 equinoux

Water dripping from your firewall could most likely be your heater core. Most heater core's are located under the passenger side dash.

Possible heater core located inside cabin underdash is leaking.Or coolant hose going in or out of core is leaking.

My 1994 chevy caprice is leaking water

will try to help. where is the leak coming from? can you tell?under the front of motor where the engine fan is? could be water pump. could be a busted hose, upper or bottom radiator hose.there are 2 hoses that run to your heater core at the firewall or dash panel, could be there. leaking from sides of engine? could be a freeze out plug rusted through or if it's gotten below freezing and you did'nt have anti-freeze, most likely a freeze plug, they are designed to save your engine block from busting when you don't have anti-freeze in freezing weather. if you can repost your problem with a location, front, sides, or inbetween the back of engine and transission, i can help you. hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com

Wate on the front floor boards

Check that the heater core is not leaking. It is under the dash. When you look inside the hood against the firewall, there are two hoses going into the cab. Thats where the heater core is located. It could be leaking into the cab inder the dashboard.
