Question about Dell 5110cn Laser Printer
Dell 5110cn - Original problem stated to replace transfer roller soon. I ignored it a couple of times and then it just quit. I was also sent the wrong part (for a 5100). In the midst of changing these transfer rollers it began to make a griding noise and jamming. Cut it off for a couple of weeks waiting for correct transfer roller. Received today and installed. Printer still makes awful noise and jams. Tried removing roller, fuser, etc. and replacing. Now message is "Reseat Fuser" Contact Support, "010 387 Restart Printer". Have restarted and the process starts all over again with the noise and the paper jams.

SOURCE: ERROR CODE 010-387 RESEAT FUSER
I had the same exact issue with my 5110cn printer. It turned out that the 5100 fuser is wrong for this printer and will not work. The 5110 has a circuit board on the inside and the 5100 fuser does not. Dell item number KX491 with a BCN # of 652423 works perfectly.
Hope this helps!
