Re: water drop in notebook

i would assume somebody has to open the Laptop and clean the logic board or even replac it. If you want to pay to have somebody do it for you there is a third party Acer Repair Service. However, if you want to do it yourself, the part is available on ebay. Here's an Acer Repair guide. Maybe a tech savy friend can do it for you.

Re: water drop in notebook

Since mouse pads are not waterproof and the manufacters have the bad habit to place motherboards under them you propably damaged it....
But you should give a try and take off the pad(pc off)and clean the surfaces topic with a contact cleaner product...if this not work you'll need a new m/b :-(

Touchpad drag and drop from surveys

This can be accomplished a couple of ways. Depending on the model of your computer there may be a pressure sensitive switch under the mouse pad that pressing a little harder will actuate. Another method is there might be 'virtual' mouse buttons on your trackpad. Put one finger in the flower left corner and drag on the pad with another. Finally, there is a setting for a double click drag and drop. Tap the mouse pad twice and on the second tap keep your finger on the pad and move it. Good luck!

Lifebook A6025 left touchpad button not working. How do I fix? I believe it is worn out.

1. You may be correct
2. If the unit had been dropped the connector inside could be loose. This will require you to do an invasive look at the unit.
3. The pad switch can be replace but it isn't for the novice to disassemble and reassemble.
4. Some touch pad have a flex cable that attaches it to the main board or mother board.
5. You can purchase a usb mouse that you can use. They are pretty cheap now and continue using the laptop.

How can I disable clicking of touchpad. I did it before but it somehow started up again.

If you have a touchpad icon down in the bottom right hand corner on windows task bar click it and you should see a menu that comes up. In that menu you should see tap to click. click that to disable your clicking for the touchpad.

If the option is not there go control panel and click on hardware and sound, then devices and printer. under devices and printer you should see mouse or mouse properties. There should be a option in there to turn it off too.

How to repair the left click button on HP Pavilion ZT1135

I had the same problem. It is pretty easy to fix. You have one of two options to follow.
1) Push down moderately hard on the left mouse button. After 2 mins or so, and the cap should back on to the button on the bottom
2) if number 1 doesn't work get a needle or pin and lift the left mouse button off. Then just apply very little, not even a drop, maybe half of a drop to the button and apply the cap back on and push down.
