Question about Pioneer DVR-540HX DVD Recorder/HDD Recorder
The error message 'Repair' appears on the units display and on the screen 'Reparing HDD'. The light for A TV is always on.
The repairing message doesn't go away and during this time no amount of button pressing changes anything.
Is the HDD damaged? If so what, if any software, do I need to install on a new HDD before installing into the DVD recorder?
Greeting, I have same problem too, and now recorder is in warranty service. HDD sucks. This recorder is piece of ****. HHD is noisy and poor quality.
Stay in peace
