Question about HP Pavilion dv4000 Notebook
My monitor goes blank when I disconnect it from the mains. The laptop keeps running as one can hear the fun and there's. It's like when pc goes to "stand by" but it doesn't respond to anything.
I was told to uninstall the display controler and restart. This works, but only temporarelly. If I turn off the laptop and start again, the monitor won't work.
Any idea what can it be??
From the mains?
You mean power?
If you have to uninstall the display controller , that means that your video drivers are bad, and you are running the native video drivers.
Get new updated drivers and keep us posted.
