Lanier 5216 flashing H then 4 will not print

So far, I have not found that this unit, when equipped with the optional WIFI card, is AirPrint compatible. However, if you have a Windows PC on your network, and it has drivers for the MP171, you can get an AirPrint Print Server program called "Presto," from Collobos. https://collobos.com/airprint.html

Not enough info, nice little printer, service call?

first go to start menu and select devices and printers
and select your printer then right on the icon -select printing preferences
select print quality tab and select restore defaults

disconnect/connect of the cables, the resetting on the ink cartrige, the align printer (which did fail); however, after going through all the steps a couple of time the Clean Printhead option finally cleared up your problem.

re install fixing unit and do the sc reset. press clear mode 2x 107 press clear/stop until COPY SP appears press Copy Sp then exit, turn off machine then on after 5 to 10 seconds

sc363 is a yellow PCU error. Try replacing the toner cartridge and resetting the PCU. If the error comes back, you'll probably need to replace that yellow PCU.

Try opening up your web browser and type in the ip address of your lanier.
You should to access the facsimile function located on the left side. Once youre in the facsimile function, you should see a thumbnail view of the faxes stored in your lanier. Simply click on the faxes and delete them.

The maintenance time is flashing.To be use the service enter code C-0-0-C or C -Interrupt-0-Interrupt,then press 20(maintenance counter clear) and 72 maintenance preset counter setting for a new value.

Does this printer have the PS option installed? If not you will be unable to print even if you clear up the network issue.

As far as network goes is it currently connected and working with other PCs?
Mac printing is easily setup by typing the IP address of equip in the queue box upon setup. I believe the default queue name is "print" all lower case. If IP in unable to work properly make sure lanier has appletalk turned on and setup printer using appletalk.

Again if the machine doesn't have Postscript option you won't be able to print anything.
