Very simple , just made sure dvd output hooked to the input of your tvs and same color ,jack to jack, you know, yellow to yellow, red to red ,white to white. But I suggest you use a s-video jack(all black). instead of the yellow composite ,or RCA jack, which give you a better picture, and if you have a the component jacks (red, blue , green)on both machine , that will give you the best picture, but remember , you still have to connect the red(right channel,+))and white(left channel,-)cable to have sound coming out from your tv.You will need a s-video cable or component cables for those option I suggested.

How to hookup Sanyo DVW-6100 to a Sylvania tv

If the Sylvania tv is a CRT (old style tube tv) you can just use an RCA cable and hook it into the composite video. It will be the cable that has a red, white and yellow connectors on it. The yellow is the video, the red is the right audio and the white is the left audio. Connect ones side of this cable to the output of the DVD/TAPE player and to the input on the TV side.

DVD PLAYER to TV HOOKUP

57b6c82.jpg

Basic DVD player hookup to TV cable diagram. RCA cable (yellow) video and RCA cables (white and red) audio. This is all you need for picture and sound. If your TV only has a single RF input, then you need a RF modulator. RF modulators accept the yellow, white and red cables and output a coaxial cable to the TV single input jack. Usually the TV is tuned to channel 3 or 4 to pickup the RF modulators output.

Alternative connection options are many and include HDMI for HDTVs, component video and for sound, surround sound digital audio connection using optical or coaxial digital audio cable.

Surround sound requires a decoder such as a A/V receiver with Dolby Digital 5.1 or DTS 5.1 or more. 6 speakers connected to the A/V receiver surrounds the listener.

Bluray players will play DVDs and Bluray discs. Bluray gives you High Definition video and typically connects to a HDTV using a HDMI cable.

Trying to hookup a dvd player model #DX-DVD2

You need 3 RCA plugs... generally colored red, white, and yellow. on the back of the DVD player plug the yellow to video out, the red to audio out (stereo), and the white to audio out (mono). The other side of them goes to the back of the TV... the yellow video input 1, the red audio (R) input 1, the white Audio (L) input 1. Then take the cable service round coax cable and screw it into the back of the DVD unit where it says Coax. Get another short coax cable and hook to back of the DVD unit on Cable out, and the other side to the back of the TV under cable/vhs. And that"s it! Hope that helps you!

How do you hook up the 3-plug dvd player to the 2 plug (on the front only) Orion TV?

you just don't put the red cable into anything. Match yellow with yellow and white with white.

Now if the real problem is that the dvd player has a component hookup, which is comprised of green, blue, and red picture cables and a set of white and red audio cables then you cannot connect it to this television.

Can not install to telivision, need help with wire connections,do not know what hookups go where lost manual, have three connections on wire, red, yellow and white, where do they go on dvd player and to where...

This is very simple
First on the back of your dvd player there should be the holes with the same colors as the cable you have, yellow (video in) in the yellow, red (left audio) in the red e.t.c.
Then either on the side or the back of your tv there should be the same sorta thing, depends if you have a HD TV or a regular freeview/analog tv. With hd there should be green blue red white and yellow, just the same as the DVD player, plug the cables into the right colors as i said,
Same goes for the regular TV, just do exactly the same as you have done with the dvd player,
Switch your channel to dvi or av1/2/3 and your dvd player should be working

There are no instructions on how to hookup the DVD player with a cable box. I need help hooking it up from the TV and cable box to the Dvd Player.

The cable box has nothing to do with the DVD player.

The dvd player will plug directly into the back of your television. You will attach it to the A/V inputs on the rear. (yellow, red, white)

If your television is a bit older and doesn't have A/V inputs you will need to purchase a modulator to attach it to your older set.

We have a Philips VCR/DVD player DVP3340V/17. According to the manual we have it hooked up correctly but it will not record on VCR or DVD. Help

Here's what's going on with that unit. The DVP3340 records on the vcr side only, not the dvd side. To record on the VCR side, you would have to plug a red, white, and yellow plug from the red, white, and yellow OUT of your cable box to the red, white, and yellow VCR IN of the Philips. The manual, as far as I can see, only shows hookups for playback, not for recording. Good luck!
