Question about Toshiba e-Studio65 Copier
I am getting paper jams while running 11x17 sheets through the duplexer and the finisher. The paper jam is consistantly "E54" and there are usually several sheets in the duplexer and one crinkled at the left door that needs to be cleared. (if that makes any sense) Any way, the error code is the same but at different stages of the booklet.
Can you help troubleshoot the problem?
The one crinkled at the end on the left door is the problem.
Since it jammed it stops the whole copying process, ( you were most likely doing duplex)
The reasons for the crinkled paper are
1- the fingers or claws at the exit are worn and catch the paper instead of sliding them out.
2- you are copying something that has a black edge and is getting caught on those fingers ( or claws)
3- The rollers at the exit are in bad shape :
