Dec 9, 2013 - Recovering deleted messages from a digital answering machine ..... AT&T cordless phones - I don't know how similar that would be to Uniden.

Mar 16, 2015 - I have to say, though, I doubt you'll be able to recover the messages. Digital answering machines typically don't have an un-delete. Good Luck.
Dec 14, 2013 - Delay needs to be at least 30 seconds because voicemail takes just over 30 ... If you don't know your four-digit pin, it's possible you haven't ...
You can turn voicemail On or OFF or change the time before voicemail picks up. To change these settings, please login in to your personal portal at my.magicJack.com, https://web03.magicjack.com/my/index.html?
click on "Call Features" and select "Voicemail On/Off/Delay".
MagicJack did not work for me at all when I tried it. I don't know how to make it work with an answering machine, but if it doesn't work the way you want it to then you can probably return it.
As of 2010, the Magic Jack works well with Windows XP and
Vista machines. Windows 7 has reported problems listed on their
Microsoft Answers forum.
Do Not Support
According to the Magic Jack company website they "...do not officially support using faxing with Magic Jack."
Testing the Fax
Test your fax machine with Magic Jack by turning off the
error correction on the machine and using the slowest speed available.
If successful at that speed, increase the speed and check if it
continues to work.
Is the answering service set to on? How many rings is it set to? You can try disconnecting from power source for several hours, then press power or other buttons, wait half hour, plug back in and reset the machine.
It sounds like two separate problems, MaryAnne44. I have the exact same machine, but don't have that problem. Sounds to me your machine is ready for the scrap heap.
