Hmmmm, this is a tough one as this is often a safe guard for theft. You should be able to recovery your Google account by using a PC and browser instead of your phone.

Oh, when I first saw it, the "google account" part was missing, my bad. you probably have 2-step verification turned on. The code should go to your messaging app on your cell phone. Check your cell phone. 2-step "could" lock you out, if you loose access to your secondary device, whatever it is...be cautious using 2-step verification. It does provide added security, but you should have a backup way to get in to your account, be careful. If you don't have the cell phone that was used to set up the account, you can "try" to verify another way, there is usually a link that says something like "use another form of verification" ...but you must have 2 forms of verification. IF by some chance this is not your account, give it up, you can't get in, that's the point, to keep out predators. It's very efficient because you need the phone to get in to the account. So if you don't have the phone, it will ask you all the personal questions to prove who you are. It's rare that people who own an account, can't get in to their own account. If you don't have the information to get in to your own account, I don't know what to tell you. But try the "MORE OPTIONS" LINK ...look for it, it's there.

A new way to bypass google account verification. just type random word, then press over the word to highlight it, then use Swype, simply press Swype and drag your finger to the S button, this is a short cut for search, then it should bring you to Google. you can reset your password by using these three options
1. reset your password using alternate email id
2. reset your password using security questions
3. reset your password using your phone number

To reset your forgotten Gmail password:
