There is no manual mechanism on the outside that would allow you to eject the DVD. If you have experience in disassembling units such as this one, there is a mechanism inside that can be turned to disengage the head and eject the tray. It may be best to just have a repair tech do it for you.

You need to take the top off (after you unplug it), and you should be able to see the carriage from the top. if the top of the carriage doesn't come off easily (2-4 screws or clips) to remove the **** that way, you'll need to take the whole carriage out. there are only a few screws but there are ribbon cables and wires attached, so be careful not to pull any too hard. remove the wires and cables, the few screws, and take the carriage out. you should be able to easily take it apart from there and remove the ****. but remember what screws go where.

Blu ray player won't play or eject disc

If you want to eject the CD you need to look on the front of the Blu-Ray drive for a small hole, about the size of a pencil-lead. If you open a paper clip and insert it, it should pop the drive open for you.

DVD won't eject or play

Use a bent paperclip and insert it into the small hole on the front of the player. This should cause the disk to eject. Reload the DVD and try again.

My daughter put the blue ray DVD into the Toshiba 14DLV75 instead of the regular DVD and now it won't eject it. It just keeps spinning like it wants to eject, but won't. How can I get it out?

Hello
Just switch OFF the set by its front panel power control switch, and then switch it On and press the eject button without any delay. Sometimes the tray will eject, and try to close. If so switch OFF the front panel power switch, while it is out, and take away the blu-ray disc. the switch it On. All will be ok then.

The door of my Toshiba sd-6100 dvd player will not open. There's a dvd inside and it will play but it will not eject. How can I open it manually?

Try unplugging the DVD player from the outlet for 2-3 minutes to reset the unit. If this doesn't help, the player probably needs to be serviced.

I hope this helps.

(if the unit is out of warranty, you could try opening the case and removing the DVD drive. There should be a manual ejection button hidden on the front of the drive. Unfortunately, doing this to get your DVD out voids the warranty, if it is still under warranty. Each manufacturer puts this button in a different place. On computer drives, the faceplate has a hole to indicate the spot. The ejection usually takes some force with a straightened paperclip (or small allen wrench).)

2 dvds in built-in player

I have come across this a few times, one in fact last week!! The back needs to be removed from the back and the dvd section removed, Dont be afraid this is quite easy to do. lie the tv down face first and remove the stand and all screws, then remove the DVD section, should be 5 x screws and some leads that just clip off.
Then you will need a small screwdriver or a knife to prize the second dvd out, this may scratch your dvd but its better than your dvd player being broke!
Once out place the dvd player back in the set then re-screw it plug the leads back in and turn the set on and try to eject the first dvd, this should now be ok.
Once done, turn the tv off and replace the back on.
Just take your time and Obviously make sure the tv is not plugged in when removing the DVD.
Hope this helps

Cd player wont play

You may have to remove the stereo from the dash, take it apart and remove the CD manually. If the CD still doesnt play with only 1 inserted, it may have damage to the laser. Happened many times to me.....
