Question about Creative Labs Zen MicroPhoto MP3 Player

Dropped Creative Zen Micro 5GB

I dropped my Creative Zen Micro 5GB, it stopped working properly. Now it stops loading after the Creative screen comes up. I've tried everything in the Recovery mode and it just gets stuck in whatever I choose. Have to pop the battery out to get it turned off. If there isn't a fix for it, can you recommend somewhere to repair it or is going to be more than just buying a used one on eBay? you turn it on and creative is the only thing that comes up you can't do anything else with it

I accidentally dropped my Creative Zen Microphoto 8GB mp3 player too. I've tried all the suggestions that the Creative website recommended w/ recovery mode, but the battery dies before it can finish erasing all the data or the firmware. I even let it stay in recovery mode while keeping it charged in an electrical outlet, but it didn't finish erasing for days, so I gave up and unplugged it. Plus, when I try to connect it into the computer, the computer says that it isn't connected. I really want to fix it if possible; I don't have enough money for another Creative Zen mp3 player.

Zen photo (8GB) won't go to main menu

Looks like your hard drive has died. Try to hold the on switch while you turn it on. If you cannot solve it with that menu your hd has to be replaced
