What to do when I dont get the LCD display in hp pavillion tx1000

I was using my laptop hp pavillion tx1000 to-day.I had to go out from my room to receive a guest, leaving the laptop ON and I returned after fifteen minutes. I tried to shut down the laptop but I could not ,because I could not see the LCD display,
Then I connected the laptop to an external monitor. Still it is not possible to see the LCD-display.
How to correct the problem?
With thanks.

I have a HP Pavillion tx1000 that frequently freezes during use or suddenly goes to the crash dump page. I don't even keep the RAM cover on the computer anymore so that I can remove the battery and plug, remove and replace the RAM and start it up again. This is a daily event. What's wrong and what can I change to avoid the problem?

My laptop hp pavillion tx1000 satarts the light`s work but no have image on the screen the cpu fan and the hard disk works

Common issue on HP dv6000. You will need to get to the GUP and reflow it with a heatgun. Try this hp pavilion repair guide. It contains step by step instructions on how to take apart the system and fix the issue with the video. www.msbin.com/hp

Pavillion TX 1215 - Blank Display - HP WHY are you cheating.??

Is the techo going to re-solder the video chip to the motherboard and get the laptop going again, or is he recommending a replacement motherboard?
The overheating problem could be causes by a faulty fan (stop spinning or spins slow) and or dust clogging the fan and heatsink assembly.
The cost of repairing or replacing the motherboard may not be worth it and may be better to put the money towards a new laptop.
You can used the old hard disk by putting it into an USB hard drive adapter case and use it as an external USB hard drive.

Missing boot manager

go to system bios (using F10 key on the start "Commanly") then press F9 for restore defaults, and insert the Bootable Vista DVD into the drive, it will solve your prob.. otherwise in bios mode make sure that all the drives (HDD & CD/DVD Rom) are properly installed.

Hp tx1000 display does not work.computer starts,no display, connected ext lcd.ext lcd did not work.If this is video chip problem, can it be replaced.

EXTREMELY common failure in the TX1000 line. Problem is the mainboard, part# 441097-001. From HP it should only be about $200 on exchange. DO NOT get this part anywhere else, as the OTHER common failure for this model is the wifi goes out. I do about 10 of these TX's per day, no im not kidding, and i promise you HP has the most stable parts source around for this. -Sy

HP tx1000 touchscreen won't work

These TX1000's have their fair share of issues, and this one is the most costly (potentially) to resolve.

There are two, and only two, possibilities for why the digitizer in the LCD isnt working.

1) On many occasions, I'd estimate about 40% of the time, there's a little cable inside the LCD housing and behind the LCD itself that connects to a daughter-board, which then is cabled to the mainboard. This little cable sometimes comes loose, and a simple reconnect will resolve the stylus pen issues.

2) The digitizer in the LCD has failed, no separate LCD+digitizer purchase, oh no no no....Gotta get the whole damn assembly. Part# 441106-001 at roughly $550 exchange from HP.
