Black ink might be low - So the printer will automatically default to the darkest color available mixed with gray - this can create a sepia effect.

try going to START-SETTINGS-PRINTERS AND FAXES-CANON PIXMA-.Go to MAINTENANCE tab,select cartridge settings,select black&white only-ok.Start printing.
If you are using refilled cartridge ,use ORIGINAL for best results.

hi, when you are on printing preference, go to colour click print on grayscale click on the drop down arrow that has high quality and click on black ink only
