RGB744GEN2WH. Where can I get a service manual for replacing the igniters?

Both the broiler and the oven igniters are shot. I have the replacements but I need assistance with the replacing. I cannot find a service manual anywhere for it. From what I am seeing, I do not want to take the entire back off of the oven to replace these igniters. Would someone be able to provide assistance or a safe and proper link for the service manual?

SOURCE: broiler and oven igniter the same?

you may not need a igniter. the problem could be with your control board which supplies power to both the broil igniter and the oven igniter. In my years of working on ovens i have not seen a oven that needed both igniters replaced.

SOURCE: Help in Replacing broiler igniter DCS RG-486GD

Jeff,
You have to remove the back of the range; the wires plug into the gas valve that controls gas to the broiler.  They detach by pulling on the slip on connector.

Broiler works oven doesn't heat

Based on your description, the igniter is dead.
The broiler and the oven heat each have their own igniter. Look for the characteristic glow when the oven is turned on. If it is not visible, then you will need to replace the "OVEN" igniter...
Google the stove model for repair parts and locate the igniter. Not too hard to replace... directions are packed with the new igniter...

My Kenmore oven wont ignite. The broiler works

The problem is your bake ignitor. The following link explains:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r401858-replacing_oven_igniter_gas_range

The bake and broil oven features each have their own separate igniters and operate independently of one another. That explains why the broiler still works. They are, however, fed from the same gas source. So...the logical conclusion would be to replace your bake igniter (the no glowing is usually a dead give-away).

Replacements can be purchased on line at searspartsdirect.com, appliancepartspros.com, pcappliancerepair.com, or repairclinic.com. Prices can vary amongst sites, so shop around for the best price. The sites I provided to you, I found, tend to offer the best service and prices.

If you have questions along the way, or require addtional service, please let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

Oven/Broiler Igniters for KitchenAid range KGST307

Oven bake ignites usually have lifetime 5-7 years. If igniter glows but gas not came in - replace igniter. Same with broil igniter.
