Is there a compatable sand blast kit for porter compressor?

Hi Rebecca:
Most sandblast kits are "stand alone" in that they just need an adequate air supply. This can vary hugely depending on the work intended. The volume of the storage tank, compressor output volume, and pressure available are the variables to be considered.
A small volume home hobby would require far less than a commercial facility.
Hope this helps.

Not enough flow and pressure to run sprinkler system

pressure in centrifugal pumps depends on the number of impellers in the pump housing, the clearance of the impellers to the housing and the power of the motor to drive the impeller/s
volume flow is also important as a pump without a high output will not produce pressure
check the jet size at the foot valve that is used to help lift water to the pump
It is a jet pump and will have a smaller line back to the foot valve for that purpose
next wil jet pumps if there is too much flow to the outlet , the pressure required to help lift the water to the pump is reduced and the volume is also reduced
you indicate 4 sprinkler heads per zone but how many zones are operating at one time
check the expected delivered volume for the new pump against delivered volume of the old pump as a starter to find the reason for the poor performance of the new pump
check also the rpms of each pump as that also has a bearing on volume produced

86 ford f-150 xlt with a 302 5.0 v8 wont start until i put starter fluid into it it will start then dies right away only runs when i pump the gas then dies again i changed the spark plugs and plug wires...

If it runs when you spray starter fluid in you know the ignition system and all related systems are working. On an '86 you have an in-take electric fuel pump. You need to confirm that it runs and that it is supplying adequate fuel pressure in the system.

Went to start, engine cranked slightly and then all power was lost. Fuses ok

If the fuel pump is not delivering adequate fuel pressure and volume to the engine, the engine may not start or run properly. Low fuel pressure can cause hard starting, a rough idle, misfiring, hesitation and stalling. No fuel pressure will prevent the engine from starting, or will cause the engine to quit running if the fuel pump fails while driving.

Fuel injected engines are very sensitive to fuel pressure as well as fuel volume. Low pressure will cause starting and driveability problems. A pump that can deliver adequate pressure but not enough volume may allow the engine to start and idle normally, but it will starve the engine for fuel and cause a loss of power when the engine is under load, accelerating hard or cruising at highway speeds.

Power steering pump has gone out,,also believe the rack and pinion will be next to be replaced,,can anyhone instruct me on how to perform these tasks

Hello, Before you give up on the Power Steering pump, check out the bottom steering line that goes from the reservoir to the front of your Expedition. You will see that the fluid line has both metal tubing and rubber hose and it runs through body clips by the frame.

Over time the plastic clips hold water and salt and will eat through the metal line. This can cause pump failure, but it also can cause air to get in the lines and cause the pump to foam the fluid. The foaming reduces the efficiency of the pump. The steering pump comes out after you get everything out of the way. It should be easier than the water pump.

You want to check the line I mentioned first, before removing the pump. While you are doing that, check with your Autoparts store about the Power steering pully if you are buying a remanufacturered pump. Sometimes you need to remove the pulley before taking the pump off. Autozone, Oreilys and Advance have tool loaner programs.

A good repair shop would hook a pressure gauge up to the Power steering lines down at the rack and pinion and measure the working pressure of your pump. Then it would be a question of the rack and pinion failing to move if adequate pressure was provided. You would then know if the rack and pinion was bad. I do not have the specs for the pump available, but you will need to test within a given RPM range.

I hope this helps you. I have seen a lot of people replace pumps only to have the steering line cause the problem. The leak can draw air more than spilling fluid, and most people just automatically top off the reservoir without questioning where the fluid went.

Motor running, water supply adequate but when

clean whole water supply and outlet from all debris, clean inlet filter as well. connect water and pressurise washer, pull trigger and wait about 3sec for pump to activate, if pump do not activate adn you have pressure from nozzle as it will be from main, this determines pressure sensor (it is extremelly rare for pump itself) is damaged.

check if you have still warranty, this will qualify as warranty repair, if warranty is expired, pressure sensor need to be replaced.

if you find my advice useful, please do not hesitate to leave your remarks and vote for me, thanx!

no "slug" is available however you could just use a reverse osmosis diaphram pressure tank to boost the water pressure. you can also use a water supply tube to bypass the in-refrigerator completely.

I just changed my frunt brakeline and pads i dont have any pressur what do you think the problem is thanks bill

Hello Bill.
You must bleed the brake line (remove all the air).
First fill your reservoir, leaving the cap/cover OFF.
2. Open the BOTTUM bleed screw on the front caliper it self. LET it set there (open) until fluid runs freely thru, (do not let fluid get more than half empty in the reservoir during this time).
3 After a few seconds of fluid running out of the bottom (30-40 seconds should be adequate), .... then u tighten the front bleeder plug/screw. You NOW should have some srt of pressure! But you also should pump up the front bake lever and manually finish bleeding the front caliper to remove any air left in the system by Gravity bleeding the system.
THAT will take care of the No Pressure - - - UNLESS your CALIPER is STUCK/FROZEN.
NOTATION - - - - BRAKE FLUID >>EATS PAINT UP!!!!! WIPE ANY excess off immediately.
