Simulation for AR sharp 5516 - Sharp Office Equipment & Supplies

Question edited for clarity, 'sharp at 5516' to 'Sharp AR-5516'.

Remove the toner cartridge and clean the contacts on both the cartridge and the copier with alcohol. Tap the cartridge on both ends to settle the toner. Make sure you are using genuine Sharp replacements.

Temperature error, use simulation mode 14 for reset the error , if not replace the thermistor, & use stabilizer to avoid problems due to power fluctuations.

1. Entering the simulation mode
Perform the following procedure to enter the simulation mode.
"#" key "*" key "C" key "*" key

Main code 14 Start key Sub code 0 Start key

OR

"#" key "INTERRUPT" key "C" key "INTERRUPT"

Main code 14 Start key Sub code 0 Start key

2. Canceling the simulation mode
When the clear all key is pressed, the simulation mode is cancelled.
When the interruption key is pressed, the process is interrupted and the
screen returns to the sub code entering display.

* After canceling the simulation mode, be sure to turn OFF/ON the
power and check the operation.

Note: If the machine is terminated by a jam error or paper empty during copying in the adjustment by the simulation, recopying is required.

DO NOT CONTINUE RESET AS THIS CAN CAUSE A FIRE AND RUIN A PERFECTLY GOOD DAY.

Go to sharp site and download patch for windows 7

Perform the following procedure to enter the simulation mode.
"#" key Interrupt key "C" key Interrupt key
press 14 and start key twice.
copier should restart normaly.

If not, then you have problems with the fuser, contact me to tell you what you have to do next.

Google sharp usa. Go to their site and click on office products then search ar 5516. It will take you to the area where you can find the driver.
