i have also checked the heater element its good, when i ran it threw a cycle after i replaced the thermistor i had it on heated wash and it was a very heated wash, is it possible that there is something else wrong here?could it be the control panel? everything has tested good. should i try to clean out the pump, and im not sure how many times the clean light blinks, i just know that it does, could it blink for another reason?

First check that the thermostat has not tripped. If you have recently changed the thermostat you alreadt know where it is located. Underneath or near the thermostat there is a red button. With the machine off and unplugged - reach in and press this button. If you hear a click the thermostat has indeed tripped and is now reset.

Try the machine and report back. Please identify at what point in the cycle the machine is stopping e.g rinse, drain etc to further help in troubleshooting the issue.

    Hi,

There are reports of control panel failure causing this on this machine - however before we go there - there is a button combination which can be used to reset the machine and this is worth a try.

The most common combination is at 1) although there is a variation between models.

    1) Push the Normal Wash then Heated Dry buttons in that sequence and repeat for two to three times. The unit should enter diagnostics mode. This can be stopped by pressing the Cancel button. This will clear any existing faults. Shut door and run cycle.

If this fails these buttons may apply

    2) With door open - press Sani Rinse, Air Dry, Sani Rinse, Air Dry and repeat a couple of times. Repeat until all lights up. Shut door and run cycle.

    4) You may find these buttons apply to your machine - repeat as above. Hi temp - air dry Hi temp -air dry.

Try this and report back. Also confirm thermostat has been reset as per previous instructions.

    Thanks.

Is it blinking seven times, continually, or a different number of times?

A clean indicator that flashes/blinks 7 times and then repeats, indicates a problem in the dishwasher which should be investigated and not just the control 'reset'! That is why the control will not let the dishwasher start once such a condition is detected.
If the dishwasher's electronic control doesn't detect a water temperature increase during the main wash cycle, that symptom can occur. No water temperature increase could be caused by a problem in the heater element, its in-line thermostat which you already replaced, the related wiring or a problem in the electronic control.
It is also possible just the washer not spraying properly (possibly from blockage in the filter or problem in the pump), the dishwasher not filling sufficiently or draining prematurely or even a problem in the door latching mechanism's switch(es) could cause it.

Once corrected, the error display may have to be cleared from the control manually (Did you do this?). That can usually be done by putting the unit into diagnostic mode by pressing the key sequence 'Heated Dry, Normal, Heated Dry, Normal' and then pressing cancel.

Clean light blinking

Does the light blink 7 times pause then repeat if so then there a problem with the heat circuit could be a bad heating element a wire off the element a bad thermistor or a control not outputing voltage to the element.

Clean light blinks seven times and will not start on any cycle.

The problem you are having is that the dishwasher is sensing that the water is not getting hot enough to finsh out the cycle. The first thing you need to do is get the dishwasher into diagnostic test mode, you can do this by pressing: normal wash then heated dry, 4 times. After in diagnostic mode you can exit out by pressing cancel/drain. This will get rid of the blinking clean light and the washer can be operated in any cycle now. To prevent this light from coming back on, you can do one of two things. First you can just try running Hot water at the faucet before each time you use the dishwasher. Or, you can replace the thermistor/sensor that senses the water temperature. You can purchase this part at this link http://www.repairclinic.com/Sensor-Or-Thermistor-Parts?s=t-DU1055XTS-%3d%3dc61

Whirlpool quiet partner III clean light blinking green

you have to hit heated dry and normal and toggle these till all the lights light up. then hit cancel . you are going to have to turn the power of and slide the dishwasher out and look directly behind the dishwasher you will see that a wire off of the heater is more than likly burned of repair the wire you should be fine. replug dishwasher in after wire is repaired. if you do not have a burned wire you have a bad heating element replace the element.

Does not go thru dry cycle, clean light blinks 7 times

Remove the front door panel and look for a broken wire.  Usually the broken wire is about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom of the door.  The wire tends to get stuck into the insulation causing the break.  Repair the wire connection and then cover the affected wire harness with a plastic cover to separate the harness from the black insulation.  If there is no broken wire, then the thermistor needs to be replaced.  That will require the entire unit removed to access from the bottom of the dishwasher.  Thermistor failures are very, very rare.

Does not go thru dry cycle, clean light blinks 7 times

clean light blinking is a tricky problem to find and cure can be a few different issues.heres an edited down version of official manufacture explaination, its been an issue (I would call manu for assisstance in repairing this further)
A heater fault detection program has been added to the electronic control to check for temperature rise and shut down dish washer. If the temperature rise is less than the criteria, then the unit will drain and blink the clean light 7 times. The Proper incoming water temperature should be between 120°- 140° F.
Possible causes of insufficient temperature rise would include wires off at thecontrol, heating element, thermistor, inlet valve, door switch, motor or capacitor, failure of any of the above components or siphoning of the water during fill.
