The GeForce 9600GT graphics card does not provide sound output. Click the link below in order to see all specifications for the 9600GT.http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_gef... I was unable to find any referance for model number: 5201-E5710A Acer motherboard. In either case sound is provided by the motherboard. Either built into the board or an add -on PCI sound card.

That's not the right model number of the board, that's the serial number. Go to the asus site for your answer after you find the model, usually by the graphics card slot

Twin dvi geforce 9600 gt 1gb - need installation instructions

ok well the soundcard is seperate - you can install it if you want but that would cut out room in the case as you have twin graphics cards going in... Main power lead to card should be an 8 pin connector - then they connect together using SLI joiner cable (joins the two cards together)
Minimum system power requirement is 400W Get your drivers from here http://www.geforce.com/drivers Hope this helps

Your Geforce 9400GT doesn't have a HDMI outlet. It only has DVI, D-sub and S video. So I'm not sure what you're asking.

You can see if the fan is getting pluged up with dust. Yes I have seen lots of these do that. You can also take the fan off the card and clean it. or replace the fan..If you are having trouble already with gaming it is because the card is getting way to hot..

It is not so difficult as it seems to be.
First ensure that your computer meets the system requirement for installing a particular Video Card. You can get these details on the box of that card.
Once you are ready with all the details and the compatible card, follow the instructions as under:

  1. Turn off your computer and disconnect the power chord
  2. Open the Cover of your computer Tower.
  3. Disconnect the monitor cable from the Onboard VGA
  4. Locate the compatible card slot.
  5. GEForce 9600 would require a pci express slot
  6. Match the notch on the card with the Card slot and insert the card with a slight push.
  7. Fix the card to cabinet with a screw on top
  8. Connect the Monitor cable to the newly installed Video card
  9. Close the cover
  10. Connect the Power cable
  11. Restart the computer
  12. Your operating system will detect the new Video card and prompt you for drivers
  13. Installed the necessary drivers from the CD provided with the Video card
  14. Finish the installation and reboot the system
That's it you have a new Video card installed !!

Please let me know if you need any further help in regards to this.

Thank you for choosing Fixya

Videio card

Check the connections and the cabling if it is secure. To ensure that the card is not the problem, you may want to try on a different monitor and different cable.
