I have a kenmore electric dryer model 11060602990 that wont turn on

    I tested fuse and it is good. any other suggestions?

Hi, The fuse is the most common reason for a dryar not to run. Here are instructions on testing the fuse. If this is not the answer, please let me know so we can naoorow this done for you. Hi, UNPLUG the dryer! Remove the rear panel of the dryer and locate the fuse. It is white and ¼” wide and 3” long. It is located on the blower housing. Remove the wires and check to see if it has continuity. If it does not, you need to replace it.

    Check the door switch and see if the little actuator that the door touches has broke.

    Make sure you have 240V going to the dryer.

Replace the Heating Element. The heating element is usually located behind a panel on the back. To replace you will need to remove the back cover of the dryer, then locate the heating element. The heating element is screwed into place and is easy to unscrew and replace. Be sure to have the dryer unplugged while doing this.

NOT ELITE HE4..... Model 96595400. Replaced thermistor and Hi-Limit Stat. Probably the thermistor.
