Question about HP LaserJet 4200 Printer
For no reason, my HP Photosmart c4280 starts out putting random nonsensical characters when i try to print anything. I tried reinstalling the driver a few different times and it just breaks again. Please help!
HP Photosmart c4280
My computer specs:
Dell Dimension 4600
Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz
512.0 MB DDR SDRAM
Windows Xp Home Sp3
I know that it sounds simple. But have you turned the printer off and back on. I have had a LOT of HPs start printing jibberish, and turning them off and back on is the only thing to fix.
I know it sounds like an obvious thing to try, and I don't mean to insult anyone's intelligence. But you'd be surprised how many people don't try that. They reinstall their driver, and reboot their computer, but never turn the printer off and back on.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
