Question about Dell 5110cn Laser Printer
First of all, let me give you the link to the manual:
You will notice that it has clear instructions on loading the multipurpose feeder (manual feed) but no explanation on how to use the manual feed first then the paper tray 1.
Click on this link and look down about halfway on the left. Click on the link for the USER GUIDE:
If you scroll down to the section "Loading Print Media" you will notice some instruction about linking trays. This is what you will want to do. Once you link the manual feeder tray to paper tray 1, you should be able to do what you described in your question.

Go to the printer tool box and select printer options, also check in advanced options, u should be able to set this there, there is no other way to set it that I know of except in the printer tool box options menu.
