Question about GE Profile Arctica Stainless Steel Top Freezer Refrigerator
My GE artica freezer (upper freezer, lower refrigerator) goes up to 40%, then cools back down down to 0. It started this yesterday and is at it again. I cleaned everything out, so the freezer is empty. The ice maker is working and there is ice. Unfortunately, the unit is almost 6 years old, so it is out of warranty.
The main problem with the Artica/Profile is that they have a main control board and a thermostat board inside the fresh food compartment. I have a repair manual and will send you a copy if you want but we are going to have to look at the control boards for burn marks. Let me know if you need me. Thanks, Sea Breeze
