If your Hazard lights flash when you turn them on then it could possibly be the bulb behind the Hazard Button. There is a tiny bulb behind the switch to indicate when it is turned on. This bulb has possibly burned out and is in need of replacement. If your Hazard lights don't flash when pushing the switch it could possibly be that somewhere along your four flasher lamps there is a bad bulb or maybe more. Since you've checked the fuses and came to the conclusion that all were fine.
is a new hazard switch you replaced it with and check to make sure the hazard swith is coming all the way out if it hangs just a little bit it will be in a neutral position and the turn signals wont work and if thats not it your multi-fuction switch feeds the turn signal lights it could be faulty
hello, are you saying the turn indicators light on the dash??? and wont flash? have you checked the rear bulbs??? sometimes if you have a bad bulb it will cause a back feed causing this condtion.
Press the Hazard switch on and check the turn indicator lamps. Replace the faulty lamps. If the hazard lights do not work then the trafficator flash can is faulty provided the trafficator fuse is OK. Check the fuse for the turn indicators, if it is blown the replace the fuse.
The indicators have a few components in their system, being:
The indicator switch
The Flasher Unit/Relay
The fuse & wiring
The bulbs
The Hazard light switch.
If the hazard switch is broken or disconnected it will stop the indicators from working, so you could check that.
You can check the indicator fuse, which should be labeled on the fuse cover. If it is blown, there is likely a fault that has caused it to blow, more often than not a problem with the trailer hitch or a trailer that has been towed.
The next culprit is the flasher unit. They are usually found in the fuse area, it is a black box, looks much like a relay, but slightly taller. If this is faulty it will cause the indicators to either stay on without flashing, or not work at all. You can check this by disconnecting it, and connecting a test light to the terminals, one at a time while working the indicator stalk (key on) If the light lights up then this confirms the switch is okay, and the flasher is likely faulty.
