Question about Teac Audio Players & Recorders
My TEAC AG-7D turns on for about a second but then turns itself off. Wont stay on for more than a second.
It happens when the speakers are fully disconnected too.
There is a problem in the final stages of the amplifier section that the protection circuits are detecting. They then shutdown the unit to prevent further damage. The most likely candidates are the output transistors. This is a relatively simple repair for an audio shop. Expect a parts cost between $20-$45.
