SOURCE: SCEPTRE X322BV, HDTV BLUE LED COMES ON WHEN POWERING UP, BUT NO PICTURE OR SOUND

I have the X322BV-HD and with no warning had the same thing happen. I"ve scoured the net and found very little--just as here on this site. I just got off the phone with a tech support rep at sceptor and got the following information:

HOW TO DO A FACTORY RESET:

  1. (Tech said this will often work even though you won't see anything on the screen--as long as the blue light is still on!) On the remote, press [MENU] and then 3 - 6 - 9 - 8 (If it's accepted, the TV will turn itself off.)
  2. Wait 10 seconds.
  3. Turn the TV back on and it will be back to all factory defaults.
That didn't work for me. But the second option, a Power Cycle Reset did.

POWER CYCLE RESET:
  1. Unplug the power cord and wait 10-15 minutes (extremely important, I used a timer set for 16 minutes just to be sure).
  2. While it is still unplugged, press and hold the [POWER] button for at LEAST 30 SECONDS - DO NOT RELEASE!
  3. While continuing to hold the [POWER] button, plug the TV back in.

The second option worked for me and it's back on working just fine. Hope this helps!

Sceptre 32 inch tv takes about 3 min. to power on and sometimes don't power on at all

Fault to the main power supply regulator section. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

X322bv powers on but does not show screen

It could be that your PC is having video issues booting. Find another monitor and see if it displays correctly. If it does, your original monitor is defective. If it doesn't, your PC boot has video issues (bad drivers, recently installed software causing conflicts with video card, etc.)

How do I get hd channels to show on sceptre 32 inch classic hdtv?

Silly question, but are you subscribed to the HD channels? Most cable companies include HD channels o higher tier subscriptions, and then require a different decoder box to get them.

Who do i send the sceptre tv back too

Check with whoever you purchased it from first. If under warranty they may have some place in your area that will handle the repair etc.
