Question about Motorola Mobility MOTORAZR2 V9 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Microphone not working

My new phone (motorazr2 v9) works, it will ring for incomming calls and will call other phones but nobody can hear me talking. Also on the voice recorder - when played back, it is blank, is this some kind of setting or does the microphone not work?

I think you should bring the phone to the shop where you got it and have them replace it on warranty - you should not have to pay for that -

Does it work on Wired or Bluetooth headset? If so your microphone has a problem or your phone is muted.

Phone allows out going calls but not incoming calls

I don't think the problem is with your phone, if I am right, it should be with the sim card and the incoming call facility might have been disabled by the Network Operator. First of all try the sim card on another handset, it will not work on the other phone either. Your only solution is to call the customer care of the Sim Card provider (Network operator) and tell them the problem, they'll fix it for you.

If you need further help, let me know.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.
