I forget where mine was but it is the first thing the hot side of the power line gets to in the oven. Sometimes in a holder, sometimes wired in.

To deactivate the DEMO MODE on your Panasonic microwave, just press the CLOCK button on the control panel 3 times.

If you were successful, then the display panel will go blank and will no longer display the 'DEMO MODE PRESS ANY KEY' message.

Please comment back here to this page if you have any details to add, have any questions, or just require further general assistance and I will respond as soon as I see it.

I hope that was helpful to you, good luck and take care.

Panasonic NN-SD297 shuts off after 15 sec and refers me to the operating manual. What's wrong?

Don't believe it's anything you can repair if you don't have some knowledge about Microweves and doubt that manual can enlighten you. Your device is defective and should be repaired by an competent microwave technician.

Did you recently have trouble with the cooktop lights?

Sometimes when the cooktop lights blow or are inserted or removed while the oven is still plugged in, the filaments can short, causing a surge that damages the controller.

They can be repaired. More details here.

The service manual is here.

You can order parts from Encompass here.

It may be a bad monitor interlock / short switch, or possibly a shorted capacitor or other problem in the inverter.

But I'm surprised the 20A fuse is not blowing before the breaker is!

I hope it's on at least a 30A breaker...

Let me know if I can help further.

Panasonic Microwave NN-T993SF has no power. Was working and suddenly the power went out like it was unplugged. It is not our fuses or cord but something in the microwave itself. Is there a fuse or...

most microwaves do have an internal ceramic fuse either 15 amp or 20 amp the cover has to come off to locate it usually at the top just behind the control board. do not touch the high voltage capacitor as it holds a charge even when the unit is unplugged.

Sounds like you didn't block the top vents. If it is not vented the top vents must be blocked and a carbon filter added . The metal plates you added don't appear to be air tight.

NN-D851; Electronics seems to work OK, however microwave functionality is not working.

There is a fuse located on the electronic board inside the microwave that could be the issue.

If the fuse is not the problem, then you will need a serviceman as they can be quite complex.

You need to take the cover off it to be certain.

NOTE: If it is stainless steel, be very careful as it is extremely sharp!
