Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
I have an HP Pavilion dv1000... I know it's older, but worked like a charm, until last weekend I was on it and all of a sudden it went *poof* and turned off.. now it wont go back on. There's a little lightening bolt at the front of the computer that lights up, but that's it. I checked the power cord and it's fine... please help! :(
Please remove the battery and ac adapter and then press and hold the power button for 25 - 30 seconds after that connect the battery back and then try to turn on the machine. if not remove the battery and just plug in the adapter and then try to turn on the machine. If still not working then try to swap the ram. or else your system motherboard requires to be replaced.
