How to Download the Recording from the camcorder to the Computer?

Depending on the model of your camcorder, you should have or can get a cable to connect the camcorder to a computer. The procedure will depend on the model of your particular camcorder.

The computer may have to install drivers to recognize the camcorder and then will see it as an additional drive or mass storage unit. This assumes the camcorder isn't an older device with a removable disk of some sort.

You can then upload the data from the camcorder by navigating to the folder from the camcorder.

Some newer camcorders use "SD" cards that can be removed and inserted directly into a computer equipped with an SD slot or equipped with a universal card reader (usually a separate device)

you have to use the software included when you purchased the camcorder. you have to stream the videos like you're recording it on the computer.

No need of Picture Package software for DCR-DVD92 camcorder, just finalize MiniDVD in camcorder after recording and put it in DVD ROM of computer or any DVD player for playback.

It is required to finalize the recording in the Camcorder in order to play the recording in any device like DVD player or in Computer.

First finalize the recording in the Camcorder and then try playing the DVD in any DVD player.

After finalizing the DVD, a DVD player will be able to play the disk.

Refer the User Guide page # 44 of 139 for the instruction to finalize the recording in the Camcorder.
