Re: only one ear on my ipod video works.

I have a sugetion , i have the same problem but when u press the headphone jack a little it works right? well it could be that the joint in the headphone jack on the Ipod/ or MP3 is not getting any connection just call the ipod service or get someone professional to tak it apart and fix it.

Ipod (30 G) earbud jack only plays out of one ear

Does this still happen with a different pair of headphones? If not, get another pair. If the same behaviour with any headphones you will need to contact Apple if still in warranty to get it repaired.

My bet is with the headphones not the IPOD.

Good Luck

Headphones not playing in iPod

This is either cause by a damaged headphone socket in the iPod or a loose connection. The only way to solve it will involve opening the iPod case and inspecting the daughter board that the headphone socket is on.

Ipod and headphone problem

The headphone jack on all the apple products have issues (even their laptops). There is no easy fix, other than having the jack replaced, or remounted. A common issue is that it comes loose from the pc board, especially with the movement of the headphone cord. This is a design/functionality flaw.

Hope this helps some.

Problems with Headphone and USB plugs

I share the same problem - I'm worried it's due to routine wear-and-tear on the jacks, so the connections are no longer solid. I hate to think I need to get it serviced for this. Usually buying a new cable has worked, but that gets expensive too... Anyone have a fix??
