SOURCE: garmin nuvi 200 route calculation problem

Sounds like a major software failure. . .

Hold a finger on the upper right corner of the screen while powering up the unit. This should do a master reset.

The go here to download an update.

SOURCE: Garmin 760 - No Voice Directions

Go back into your tools and settings and re select the voice of american jack and see if it comes back on.
I lost the voice 2 days ago while on a trip from tenn. to florida and this fixed it. we never shut off the voice but somehow while using bluetooth or FM trans it shut off voice transmiting.

How can I start using my new Nuvi 2569 sat nav?

Step Description Step 1:
Warm Up If possible, let the GPS warm up for a few minutes once turned on. This allows the GPS to acquire its current position via satellite. Step 2:
Determine Preferences Choose day or night colors to display a suitable screen for the time of day. Step 3:
Adjust Volume Adjust the volume so the device can be heard over traffic noise. Step 4:
Enter Address Through the onscreen navigation option, enter the street address for the destination. Step 5:
Verify Route Check the listed route for accuracy, adjusting as needed. Step 6:
Follow Directions Follow the directions given by the GPS device to reach your destination. Some models, especially in-vehicle navigation, offer voice directions. Step 7:
Turn Off Once you've reached your destination, turn off the GPS device to save its battery charge. Step 8:
Store Device Store the GPS device out of sight if possible, or take it with you to prevent theft.

We have just bought this sat nav, and would like to know how you delete the journey you have just made

I'm not sure exactly what you mean. Do you mean that the route is still highlighted? If so it's probably because you didn't go past the exact location that the satnav considers to be the end of the journey. If this is the case press menu then press stop. That will clear the highlight and instructions from the satnav.

If you mean you want to clear the location from favourites Press favourites, then press the name of the location you want to delete, Press edit, and then press delete.

I hope this answers your question

Wont calculat route

sat nav needs a valid gps signal to start calculating route, even if it found entered address. Address is searched on built-in map, not live gps position. That means, sat nav may have problem with gps signal. Try to reset device to its factory settings first. hope this helps

Dosen't show new completed roads thats in routing

hello there

You'll need to update the maps on your sat nav, they don't automatically update. You'll have to go to nuvi website and download them to your unit via the PC. Visit the nuvi website and follow the detailed instruction.

Hope This Helps. Please don't forget to rate me.

Many Thanks
