My daughter stuck 12 quarters in our Wii. How can I get them out?

    Please Help!

I left the Wii plugged in and then held in up with the slot facing down and hit the eject button. The magnet that holds the disks in place released and the coins started falling out!

From the official Nintendo website:

"Object inserted into the Disc Slot If an object is inserted into the Disc Slot, it will automatically be pulled in, and it won't be possible to eject it. Do not attempt to open the Wii console or otherwise try to remove the object, as it may result in further damage to the console.
The Wii console will need to be repaired. Because this type of damage is not covered under Nintendo's warranty, there will be a charge for the repair. Please call 1-800-255-3700 to discuss available options."

Either my 2yr old brother or my 2 cousins put coins in my nintendo wii. This is the third time they have done it.The first 2 times, i shook my nintendo wii and the coins popped out but now i tried shaking...

Hi,

If your Nintendo is under warranty, my advice is to take it to Nintendo service center..

If not you try removing the outer cover and remove the Coin...It should be poping out easil\y..

Dont try to shake it heavily, if the coim hits the Lens then your device eould be spoiled and you cant avail warranty..

Please revert me, if you need more assistance, i would be very glad to assist you more.
If you were satisfied with the solution please rate this sollution.

Thanks For using FixYa!
