Question about Nokia 6600 fold Cellular Phone
I was cought in rain. My phone was in my pocket and got slightly moist. The pone is dead ever since!
Thanks for using Fixya.com!!
Ideally, you should not turn the power on if your mobile phone got wet or any electronic devices because it will create short circuit and more problems!
You should remove the casing, battery and the sim card and let it dry, maybe around 48 hours. Then that's the only time you should try to turn the power on, if the problem still there, bring your unit immediately to any technician to open it and see the problems are.
Cell phones not switching on for getting wet is not a good symbol and would advise to take it to the manufacturer if under warranty or try replacing the battery.
