Question about HP Compaq 8510p Notebook
When I start Windows mobility center I can see that wireless is disabled and I cannot snable it, the button is greyed... Checked the drivers and all seems ok... checked BIOS and all looks fine... Any solutions?
I have an HP Pavilion dv6-6135 and when I googled my wi-fi problem, there were a lot of HP Pavilions in the same boat. One person has a video on how he by-passed the motherboard with wireless adapter to fix it. Obviously it is an HP pro blem that they just keep let happening on each model.

Go to device manager press windows key + pause break key then you can see system property then click on hardware then devicemanager then uninstall your wifi drivers then install again then check.
Please rate my solution thanks.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
