Replace the CD player. To pull the plastic baffle off the dashboard: Adjust the heating vents so they point downwards. Grab the plastic bar between the heating vents and the stereo. Pull. Remove the screws from the front of the mounting brackets. Pull out the crappy stereo. Unplug the antenna and the wiring harnesses. Transfer the mounting brackets to your new stereo. Cut off the big wiring harness (unless you're lucky enough to have a replacement stereo that accepts the same kind). Connect the wires to the wires on your new stereo's harness. How to unlock radio code of rav4 2002

The code is located with the original paperwork/manual provided with the vehicle. If you do not have this, you will need to take the car to a Toyota dealership and provide them with the radio serial number and the VIN.

How can I convert my factory installed radio to bluetooth in my 2007 rav4?

Yes you can! Just Google Bluetooth adapter, choose one from Best Buy, Amazon.com, Ebay, etc.
They work WITH your radio, so you don't have to remove it! The instructions are simple, and most of them work decently.
BTW- Check the reviews and be sure to spend enough to get a decent one!

2002 Toyota Rav4 remove door panel

There are some hidden screws around the door handle but you get under the panel and yank hard to pop the fasteners. Also remove the black piece behind the mirror. Alot of times it is seperate. 3 screws behind that and the connector and you are done.
