Maybe your phone is tapped. ( ie someone is tracing your calls and listening to your conversations. Try doing a hard reset on your phone, this may solve the problem.

Contact your telephone carrier. They may be able to tell you who are the people calling you. Have you thought about answering the calls and ask the callers who they are?. If you recognize a voice that calls you repeatedly (without recognizing the person), you can lodge a complaint with the police department and inform your telephone carrier about the nuisance calls.

The reciever on long distance calls complain of echo on their side I have a KX-TG4023

Echoes are created when you have a delay and has nothing to do with your local handset cordless or wired. It is the carrier that you are using that may be responsible for this problem. You need to contact your long distance carrier for this problem.

What do you recommend to stop phone echoing? I own an AT&T Dect 6.0 cordless. It echos no matter where you are in the house.

Try making a phone call on regular analog phone.
If you have an echo you should contact your carrier
If no echo contact the store that you bought the phone from and ask for replacement of deffective unit.

Cheers

T7316 Dropped calls and voice echo

How are your lines coming in to your phone system?

Generally you get an echo on VoIP lines not set up correctly.

T7316 should not give echo, as it is a digital phone.

Outside caller hears themselves in an echo

Echo is usually caused by the transmit (speak) level on the unit being set too high.

1. First, try lowering the volume of the telephone. If you still hear an echo, adjust the volume of the headset itself.

2. The master transmit controls of the headset are the ABCD switch settings on the bottom of the base. A is the lowest and D is the highest setting.

3. You can fine tune this setting with the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons on the back of the charging base.

4. If this doesn't fix the echo, try moving the configuration dial on the left side of the charging base. The recommended setting for most phones is 1.

Using Handsfree with Samsung SGH Cell Phone

Echoing is usually a simple problem to fix, try turning the phone a bit.
Echoing comes from the phone hearing itself. Possible, but seldom the case, is crosstalk from the headset being poorly manufactured.

I hear an Echo when I'm using my Iphone

One of the PC magazines did an extensive drop test on the iPhone without breaking it, so your dropping it on the carpet didn't cause the problem. Echos can be caused by communication with the cellular network, so you should verify the problem by trying the phone in your local ATT/Cingular store. You may also experience a time delay that you will notice if you call another phone close by where you can hear the live voice as well as the one on the phone. Both of these problems are found in all cell phones, not just iPhone, BTW.
