Question about ASUS Eee PC 1000H Laptop
I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but I have had it repeatedly with a variety of different brands of laptops. Now I have it with the EEE pc 900HA. The problem is that the cursor keeps jumping around while I'm typing. I'll be in the middle of a sentence and the next thing I know the cursor jumps up several lines and I'm typing new, unwanted characters in the middle of the text. Can anyone tell me why this happens or (hopefully) how to fix it? It is very annoying. Thanks.
You're hitting the touchpad with your palms as you type. Either lift your hands when you're typing or temporarily disable the touchpad.
