We can not fix anything, but if it is under warrantty, try sending it to samsung, they can fix it for free if it is not "accidental damage" or, can fix it if it is for about 100- 150 $.

Hiii, my Camera is messed up. . .AGAIN! it's the worst camera ever. i can't take one picture without something going wrong../: welll, i went to the beach with my friend, we took some cute pictures...

Even ONE grain of sand will jam the lens mechanism. About all you can do to save it is to lightly bang the bottom of it against a table while the lens moves in or out during power on/off. If that doesn't get the sand out, it's hopeless.

This happened because you are not a camera repair technician. You took a complicated piece of electronic equipment apart without any knowledge of what you were doing. I'm glad that at least, your pics turn out.

My daughter dropped her sister's Nikon Coolpix S560 in the sanddunes today with the lens open. It still took pictures after that but the lens wouldn't close. Now it opens and closes and makes a grating...

It seems that some sand particles are lodged between the lens casing and the camera's body. and when it finds that there is resistence in moving the lens, it shuts down. Use somethig that sucks, like the vacuum cleaner to **** the sand particles out. Do not blow, else the sand will go further in.

Tz2 panasonic lens cover repair

I had a camera with this problem once - a friend took some photos at the beach and filled it with sand!

Try obtaining some compressed air and blasing it out.
A little WD40 (directed with care) should get that lens cover closing nicely, provided there is no debris.

Spot appears in pictures and LCD display.

That's a good bet, I think the service centers will do this as an
"annual internal cleaning" although I don't know what they will charge. Taking apart the optics is challanging and risky.

Dropped fe- 230 camera in sand..spazzing out..help ASAP please

Borrow a friends camera or buy another.
The motorized lens assembly is contaminated, and
your only recourse is to replace the entire assembly.
It has very close tolerances and even replacing it is no guarantee that all the sand particles could be cleaned out of the camera body.
Sorry. No easy fix this time.

Try lining it back up.
Make the lens lined up.
or push the lens in lightly.
i did it and it worked for me.

Camera turns on and then turns off.

It seems the camera has a lens problem. Probably one of the lens gear is broken or defective. When you try to shoot the lens moves to focus and jams in the middle of the focus so shutter will not release becasue it is not focused yet. There are couple of gears in the gear chain of the lens and it is plastic. the volume of pictures you took might have caused one of the gear to wear down. The solution is to rebuild or replace lens assy. and the cost may be around $100 in US.
