Will need to reinstall your wireless software first e.g netware then to set up another wireless connection using the wizard. Easiness depends upon whether you have the software disc or not. If that doesn't work you can always use system restore to take your computer back to a time when it was working fine. If you use system restore then choose a point closest to the date you lost data.

Why does my d-link wireless g wda-1320 disconnect intermittently?

If it was working before you wiped it either you don't have the correct wireless driver for the hardware in your computer or you need to set up your wireless configuration properly (network authentication, encryption etc) (or have you tried another wireless channel number?)

Forgot password

Check to see if someone wrote down the password and taped it to your router, hopefully!
If not you will need to log into the administration page of the router with a hardwired computer not wireless open a browser and type into the address and press enter, the logon page will open, the default username and password are blank just press enter.

Once you are in navigate to the wireless tab and then wireless security. You should see the wireless password and can write it down and use it to connect your device.

If you cannot log in then someone has changed the default password and you will have to do a hard reset, hold the rest button for 10 seconds, this will wipe the memory and set it back to factory specifications and you will have to setup all your wireless computers printers, faxes to the new wireless name and password that you create

Laptop cannot aquire network address from wireless router

If you connect the computer to the router , it works.
That means the wired connection is OK.
Open the set up page of the router check the wireless settings of the router.
I think your network is secured and you are not typing the correct network key.
just open the router set up and check the wireless settings .
Make sure that the DHCP server on the router is enabled

I restarted my desktop and wiped it clean, when i went through everything to start restoring everything i had on it i tried to connect to the internet through my wireless adapter. I cant get online to...

I'm afraid your only option is to get the drivers one way or the other before you can connect to the internet or the network.

What I recommend is simply downloading the drivers from another computer that has access to the internet and transfering the driver package with a USB key or an other portable storage device.
