Question about Samsung MW1080STA Microwave Oven
When plugged into AC these numbers come up 3333 or 8888. It cannot be reset and the clock cannot be set. Nothing works, however the interior light comes on when the door is opened.
The keypad is defective most likely with this error and not worth replacing or fixing. This microwave has had a ton of problems associated with it including this one and I would recommend getting a new microwave since they are relatively cheap to buy and you would be better off. Let me know how this turns out.

1. Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds.
2. Re-apply power and observe for at least one minute.
3. If code re-appears, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).
