Hi..

If your dryer not get hot check this

  • Check for proper air flow

If the flow of the air in your clothes dryer is impeded, the clothes will dry slowly or not at all. Also, a blockage in the vent system can be a fire hazard.

Check the vent for proper air flow by placing your hand over the exterior vent while the dryer is running. You should feel a strong flow of air. If you feel no air or the flow is weak, follow the steps below.
  • Test the safety fuse
  • Test the thermostats
The dryer uses multiple thermostats to regulate the temperature. When the temperature is higher than the preset limit of a particular thermostat, the thermostat breaks the circuit and the heater goes off. When the temperature cools enough, the thermostat closes the circuit again and the heat can come on.
  • Test the centrifugal switch
  • Test the timer motor
  • Test the heating element
Good luck !!!

Dryer gets hot but wont dry clothes

Do you know if the dryer vent is free of obstructions?Check outside where the dryer vents outside ,and see if the air is weak or flowing freely. If it is not clogged the air should be pretty strong from the vent outside. If it has blockage it will definitly take longer to dry your clothes.
