How do I prevent Rapid 5080e stapler from jamming

Make sure that the tray for the staples is clean and LIGHTLY oiled, Staples are held together with glue. IT could also be an issue with the wear on the staple head driver. If you use it a lot, the unit might be worn to the point that it is out of spec.

How to put the spring back in the handle of Arrow T50 Stapler?

Ref. recocking the spring handle in your Arrow T 50 Stapler
1. secure the stapler in a vise. You need three hands to recock the handle spring.
2. Using a notched tack lifter hand tool, with one hand holding the handle so as to expose the spring, place the notched tool against the spring arm and force it to the rear. it will now be under tension.
3. Wiggle the handle into position so that you can quickly insert the clevis pin. Once secured, let go your handle that is now under tension. Replace clevis ring.
4. Dry fire to test.

I have a rexel odyssey heavy duty stapler but the spring has popped out, how and where do I attach it back on?

Rexel Odyssey heavy duty stapler: The pring that pushes the staples into position can come losse if the stapler iss dropped. It's difficult to work out how to replace it! However, there are only two "lugs" that will take the circular ends of the spring. One obviously fits to the sliding staple retainer. The other to the back end of the pressed-metal inner body. However, to work, the spring must be threaded from this point along the pressed metal parallel-sided inner body back through a slot and over a rounded bent piece (shiny from prvious friction) and back down to the sliding staple retainer. It's trickey to do, but that's where it has to go in order to provide forward tension when the Stapler is closed.

Starter rope on UST generator got behind wheel. Took cover off and spring unwound. Rewound spring inside starter rope wheel. Every time try to wind rope spool back inside cover and replace, inner spool...

Hi, W/D here.

Go at it from the other end. Take the handle off of the rope. If you have a fine piece of wire, attach it securely to the handle end of the rope; you'll use the wire to feed the rope back through in a moment. Wind the spring and starter wheel. When it's getting about as tight as you want it, align the knot hole with the shroud grommet. Feed the pull rope and wire through the knot hole, and out the shroud grommet, and pull the line all the way through, down to the knot. Catch the free end and put a slip knot in it, so it can't whizz on back into the reel. Attach the pull handle, and release the slip knot.
Best regards, W/D

Drips from shower head when in off position

Deltas can be either cartridge type or cup and spring type; both are easy to repair. Try to operate the valve several times full range and then shut off. If the problem is caused by a bit of trash in the valve assembly, you may be able to work it out with the problem solved. I have gotten away with this on several occasions.
If that doesn't work, cut off the water to the shower at source block valves, if you have them. It nay be necessary to shut off the water to the house at the water meter. Drain down the house side of the water supply at the lowest point, usually an outside faucet or flush the toilet, Gain access to the valve inner parts by removing the handle (single handle faucets usually are attached with an allen screw on the underside of the handle, removing the chrome escutcheon and the wall cover plate. Slowly and carefully remove the inner piece and look for any apparent damage. If yours is of the cartridge type, it is easier to simply replace the cartridge. If it is the cup and spring type, repairs involve changing out the bad components. I suggest that you place all of the parts that you take out in a plastic baggie and carry them with you to the parts store, or one of the big box stores, where parts should be available. Reassembly will be in the reverse order of the tear down.

Best regards,

The stapler will only work 1 time. then you must manually push the staples forward. the spring is not strong enough to do that. thanks. Jim

Usually, it is not the spring, but, rather, the stapler is clogged. Turn off the power and gain access to the stapler slide mechanism. Look carefully along the track and the hammer mechanism for pieces of a broken staple or paper chad. Wipe clean and give a light spray of silicone, wipe down and re-assemble. This should clear the problem. Please post back if other issues arise from your inspection.

Best regards, --W/D--

How do I reload a Rapid S1 Supreme stapler?

Hi there,

  • Hold the gun in your right hand
  • The clip shield is spring loaded, when it released it will move toward base.
  • Near the base of the hand grip on the left side there is a metallic clip, free it with your left hand.
  • When it opens, check for obstructions, single staples, etc.
  • If it's been a busy day, add a couple drops of light oil to the moving parts.
  • Insert a clip of staples.
  • Slide the guard home, The clip will snap into place when it registers.
Then your good to go...

Best regards

How to replace spring

Hope the following is clear if not write back and I'll try to clarify, if you look at the body of the stabler molded to the body there is a bump that is round on the botton and kinda notched on top. the round part of the spring fits around the bump. The spring has a straight side and bent side. the straight side rests against the a flat bump which is slight back and lower than the round bump. the bent side clips into the notch on the handle (clip this end in last) I used a plier but there is very little tension involved the spring just returns the handle to the at rest position,
