After taking a shot i see lines on the screen on my A410 cam. i dont have these lines before
If the banding is only visible on the LCD viewfinder, you might choose to ignore them.
This affliction can also occur on the CCD element too in which case a repair or replacement is necessary.
Both of these devices are scanned and a missing addressing line can cause the effect you describe.
If this problem doesn't appear on photos, you might try gently pressing around the perimeter of the LCD display with a thumbnail. These elements are contacted by a very 'iffy' method (sputtered metallic contacts on glass) and sometimes the alignment of the mating contacts (embedded in silicone rubber strips) isn't perfect causing either rows or columns to disappear.
If the application of mild pressure momentarily 'cures' the banding, the LCD is OK but the contacting of it isn't and this is a very critical alignment problem that can only be cured by some scary disassembly and a whole lot of luck.
A failed Olympus LCD on a camera we owned would have cost $90+ dollars to replace (parts only) so we retired the camera.
