Question about LG VX8300 Cellular Phone
I formatted a card for this phone. On the PC it shows all files. However, the phone does not seem to recognize any music or video files. The phone seemed to format the card okay so I am thinking it has something to do with the type of files-maybe it can't read them? I was hoping someone could tell me what type of files this phone can read and if there is a way to convert these from Windows Media to something it can recognize. Space is not an issue because the card showed plenty of free space-1.7 to be exact. I look forward to any help- Thanks!
Make certain your files are in the appropriately named folder, which is: my_music
Also, if your files have very long names, it will not see them. I don't know how many characters it's limited to, so but you can at the very least use 16, probably up to 32. Sorry I don't have a definite answer on the second part, I just played with it till it would read my long-named files.
