Question about Canon PIXMA iP2000 InkJet Printer
This often occurs either shortly or immediately after a paper jam in which someone has to pull out the paper that was fed through, tearing it at the same time. A small piece is still in the machine somewhere. If there is a back panel you can remove from the printer it often helps to remove that. Unplug the printer, check with a flashlight, and you'll most likely need tweezers once you find it. You should also be able to roll the paper feeder by hand with it unplugged, if not, check near the gears or at a point where it may block multiple pages from feeding.
I've lost count of how many printers were given to me by owners saying it was broken, and all it was was a tiny peice of paper crumpled up inside.
