First make sure your doors close fully (no pizza box blockages)... good gasket contact... and keep in mind NOTHING works if the interior lights don;y go on & off correctly.

A really good start would be to get your make and model numbers together... go out to the various WEB sites (noted below) and try to find if you have a defrost timer... or control board.

All these sites have helpful hints... some have videos

The Ice maker does not fill with water and the red light on the wall of the freezer by the on/off switch is blinking red.

This light flashes a signal that indicates if the ice maker and boards are ok or if there is a problem. If there is a problem the flash changes. I'm sending you the diagnostics chart pertaining to this.

The ice maker has stopped working. The light inside is flashing red. I checked the manual and nothing is stated about the red light flashing in the troubleshooting section. I've checked the lines and...

this sounds like a control board circuit problem..but first remove perishables and defrost freezer ..turn off or un plug..leave refr door closed..freezer door open..if you have lots of water while defrosting you almost cirtainly have froozen the evap coils solid..freezer cannot work like this..after defrost..plug in and see if temperature returns to normal..if it does it won't last indefinately..your probably have a bad defrost timer and/or evap heater gone bad

Lec freezer if i turn thr temperature up the red light starts to flash

that is because when you want a colder unit the sensor is detecting a warmer interior hence red warning light comes on.leave it at the setting you want and within 24 hours the red light will go off.
strongly recc you use a freezer temp gauge so you dont get rock hard ice cream(-18C is best)

Red light flashing on ice control panel in freezer section of my Whirlpool gold GS6NHAXVT02. I have the setting on ''on''.

The red light is supposed to flash. The number and frequency of flashes is a diagnostic tool we use to determine what is wrong if the icemaker is not working. If your icemaker is not working, count how many flashes before it rests, and let us know. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

Icemaker not working- red light flashes constantly

The red light should flash twice , pause then flash twice constantly . If you close the flap on the left side , then the light should go off . This shows the optics (ice maker cut off ) are good .

Check the black tube ( fill tube ) , which puts water into the ice maker , to see if it is iced inside . If so , then the water valve behind the refrig is bad . It seeps into the tube and freezes , blocking the water flow .

Pour about 2/3 cup of water into the ice maker . If it freezes and dumps , then the water valve needs replaced . If it doesn't dump , and stays frozen in the ice maker , replace the ice maker . Also , make sure the coils under the front of the refrig are clean , as this will cause warmer temp in the freezer and the ice maker needs 5 degrees to operate .

Ice maker not making ice.

These Icemakers have plastic gears on the modules that are breaking, also some have thermostats that are malfunctioning. I recommend haveing an experianced tech look at the unit to see if you need the new upgraded indoor ice maker.
