How does it show in "Disk Management"?
If it could be seen there, you could try to
assign a letter for it there:
Right click this drive => Select "Change Drive Letter and Paths".
If this doesn't make a sense, your drive
may get some problems. You could take chances with reformatting.
In addition, since this drive has contained
all your important files, you'd better restore them all back at first before
the formatting process.
In order to restore these files back, you
need data recovery software that could easily help restore inaccessible form a
drive, especially after accidental deletion or formatting.
In my opinion, you could try to restore your files for free by using a drive data recovery freeware that has offered
four data recovery options for the user to process almost all data recovery
problems.
Next time, you should never forget to back
up important data on separate drives.
Uninstall all usb drivers from device manager.
then clik on scan for hardware changes then it automatically install all usb drivers.
then check in my computer.Alkso try in other computer if you have.
Check usb cable is proper working.
Check in all usb ports.
